Team Lead Backend

Lead a backend team that keeps an e-commerce platform for a large user base running.

An e-commerce company in North Brabant is hiring a team lead backend. Your team keeps the platform available at any time of day. This role is on-site, not remote, and requires fluent Dutch. You work 32 to 40 hours a week.

What you will do:

• Lead the backend team and be responsible for the application
• Guide developers and projects, and encourage professional growth
• Help with recruitment and join interviews with the recruiters
• Monitor the quality of the team and prioritise backend work with the product owners
• Contribute to the code bases, with a focus on PHP, and present demos to stakeholders

What you bring:

• At least 5 years of backend development experience, preferably in a leading role
• Good knowledge of OOP, MVC, PHP and MySQL, and experience with a framework such as Symfony
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Fluent Dutch, spoken and written
• A plus: affinity with AI
