Functional Administrator ServiceNow

Keep a shared ServiceNow environment running at a higher education institution in Noord-Holland.

A higher education institution in Noord-Holland needs a functional administrator for its ServiceNow environment. The platform serves a very large group of students and staff and replaced an older service desk tool not long ago. The team works on site together on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What you will do:

• Accept and register change requests, and handle incidents.
• Stay in touch with end users, and translate their needs into functionality or an alternative solution.
• Test delivered functionality, train users and run regression tests during ServiceNow upgrades.
• Document your findings, actions and conclusions.

What you bring:

• At least three years of service delivery experience in higher education.
• Experience as a functional administrator or key user.
• Knowledge of education logistics or other core systems, such as SIS or SAP.
• Knowledge of service management systems. ServiceNow, BiSL and Itil are a plus.
• An eye for process analysis, accuracy and a structured way of working.
• Fluent Dutch.
