Private Insurance Underwriter

Assess private insurance applications and decide on acceptance at an insurance service organisation.

An insurance service organisation in the province of Utrecht is hiring a private insurance underwriter for 32 to 40 hours a week. You assess applications, decide on acceptance and support intermediaries. You work hybrid.

What you will do:

• Assess private insurance applications, analyse the risk and decide to accept or reject
• Stay in contact with intermediaries and authorised agents, answer questions and support them
• Process changes and policy applications in the administration systems
• Take part in internal improvement projects and tests
• Coordinate with colleagues and share knowledge

What you bring:

• A vocational or bachelor diploma
• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role
• The Wft Basis and Schade Particulier certificates, or the willingness to obtain them right away
• An accurate, customer-focused and solution-oriented way of working
• A proactive attitude and a habit of thinking two steps ahead
