Functional Application Manager, Public Sector

Functional application manager placed at municipalities and public bodies, with a focus on social-domain software.

An IT consultancy in North Holland is strengthening its public sector practice with a functional application manager. You work as a consultant at municipalities and public organisations, with a focus on the social domain: social support, youth care and participation. You join a group of specialists who share knowledge in expertise teams.

What you will do:

• Map the needs of the business and align IT services with them.
• Determine the impact of changes and propose improvements.
• Keep applications available and documentation up to date.
• Handle incidents, problems and changes.
• Manage authorisations.

What you bring:

• A bachelor's or master's degree.
• At least 5 years of functional application management at a minimum of 2 municipalities or public organisations.
• At least 5 years of experience with software suites for the social domain, a case management system or an HR package.
• Knowledge of Agile, BiSL and Itil.
• Preferably experience with SQL and PL/SQL scripts and with management information in Cognos or Power BI.
