As a financial controller, you join an international trading company in the food sector in Regio Utrecht. The group has both Dutch and foreign entities. You start in a small team and quickly build up responsibilities of your own.

What you will do:

• You assess and analyze financial and non-financial data.
• You draw up reports on performance and profitability per customer.
• You compile monthly, quarterly and annual closings and analyze the figures.
• You produce consolidated closings at group level.
• You prepare tax returns, financial audits and the external audit.
• You draw up budgets, monitor cash flow and manage costs and risks.

What you bring:

• You have knowledge of financial reporting, closings and consolidation.
• You analyze figures sharply and see where costs and risks can be managed better.
• You work independently and take the initiative in optimization projects.
• You act as a sparring partner for managers.
