Analytics Engineer

An international IT consultancy in Utrecht is hiring an Analytics Engineer to build Azure and Snowflake data platforms for its clients.

An international IT consultancy in Utrecht is hiring an Analytics Engineer. As a consultant you build modern data platforms for reporting, analytics and AI at client sites, working alongside data scientists, AI engineers and architects.

What you will do:

• Design, build and run scalable data platforms, from source to end product
• Integrate and transform data from many sources
• Set up data warehouse and lakehouse architectures with Kimball and Data Vault
• Build datasets for dashboards, machine learning and AI
• Work with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Snowflake
• Advise clients on architecture, integrations and technical choices

What you bring:

• At least four years of experience as an Analytics Engineer
• Strong SQL and Python, hands-on with ETL, ELT and data pipelines
• Knowledge of Azure data services and data modelling
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps; Infrastructure as Code is a plus
• You explain technical choices clearly, in excellent Dutch
