Trainee track: road to partner

The trainee track is for graduates who want to learn recruitment properly, from the first call to an accepted offer, and who want to build towards partner.

Your first weeks

You start with the principles we use in every contact with clients and candidates: plain language, honest advice, open questions and a clear position. You learn the words the trade uses, so you can describe a conversation precisely to a colleague.

From the start you listen in on real calls. Soon after, you make your own, with a coach beside you who listens along and talks it through with you afterwards. You learn to plan your day and your week, because in this work speed is a form of trust.

Your first months

You learn to read a market: which companies are hiring, who decides and which signals tell you a team is growing. You locate candidates and keep their data accurate.

Then come the conversations. You practise IPMERC for a structured conversation with a prospect or candidate, WRIOC for handling objections and FAB for an argument that fits what the other person needs. After that you learn to qualify a job and a candidate, introduce the right people and guide interviews and an offer.

Coaching

You learn the trade from consultants who do it every day. Your coach listens along, reviews your calls and processes with you and decides with you what to practise next. Feedback is direct and specific: what you said, what it did and what to try instead.

Between sessions you can rehearse situations with the calltrainer in the Pearson App and look up how we handle a question in the training itself.

An assessment per module

Every module ends with an assessment. It checks whether you can apply what you learned to a real situation, not whether you can repeat it. You and your coach see what you master and what needs more work, and you move on when you are ready.

Road to partner

Once you hold a market of your own, you run the full process yourself. As a senior consultant you deepen client relationships and coach newer colleagues. The partner track follows from there: you build a team without losing your own clients and discuss your route with leadership every year.

Partner is a route, not a promise. It depends on what you build. The Academy gives you the structure to build it.

Who this suits

You have a university degree, or a higher professional degree plus sales experience. You want to persuade people and close agreements, you are not afraid to call a stranger and you own your results in good weeks and bad ones.
