GenAI Engineer

GenAI Engineer, Eindhoven, permanent

A data and BI consultancy in Eindhoven is hiring a permanent GenAI Engineer to build AI applications for clients. Stack: Python or C#/.NET, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Microsoft Foundry.

What you will do:

• Turn client questions into working AI applications, or into plain software when that fits better
• Build AI agents and applications that help staff find information or get work done
• Build RAG that retrieves company information and shows traceable sources
• Integrate AI into existing systems through APIs and connectors, respecting access rights
• Set up tests for answer quality and executed actions
• Set up deployment and monitoring, including usage costs
• Decide which actions an agent may take on its own and which need approval

What we ask:

• Bachelor or master degree, preferably computer science, AI or data science
• At least 2 years in software development, data engineering or AI engineering
• Maintainable code in Python or C#/.NET, with APIs, Git and automated testing
• Built an application on language models, including tests and known limits
• Good Dutch, working in English
• Nice to have: Azure, Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Copilot Studio, Fabric
