Finance Controller

Finance controller for a national occupational health services provider, 32 to 40 hours, with a focus on the monthly close and consolidation.

A national occupational health services provider is hiring a finance controller for its shared service centre finance. You run the financial administration end to end and have a direct hand in professionalising the finance function. The role is independent and carries real responsibility.

What you will do:

• Run the financial administration and deliver a timely monthly close.
• Prepare, analyse and review balance sheet files.
• Lead and carry out intercompany consolidations.
• Spot discrepancies and improvement points, and propose practical fixes.
• Work with operations on financial questions and visit locations now and then.
• Support accounting across the group and act as sounding board for colleagues.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's or master's level and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• A background in accounting, audit, compilation work or in-house accounting.
• Experience with balance sheet files.
• A hands-on, accurate and analytical way of working.
• A plus: experience with Exact or a similar accounting package.
