Analyse business processes and build web applications on a low-code knowledge platform for government and financial services clients. Hybrid, Noord-Brabant and client sites in the Randstad. Dutch at C1 level required.

A software company in knowledge automation is hiring a medior Business Engineer. Its clients are banks, insurers and government bodies. You work between the business and IT: you analyse processes, model the knowledge behind them and build web applications on the company's own low-code platform. This is not a full-time coding job.

You work in a team with clients and colleagues, from home, from the office in Noord-Brabant and on site at clients, mostly in the Randstad. Fully remote is not possible. 32 to 40 hours a week, part-time is negotiable. Dutch at C1 level is required.

What you will do:

  • Analyse complex processes and map the knowledge they rely on
  • Translate client needs into solutions on the low-code platform
  • Design, model, build, adjust and test applications
  • Improve client products and processes together with the team

What you bring:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Dutch at C1 level or higher
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business informatics, artificial intelligence, knowledge engineering or a related field, or another degree with a strong affinity for IT and problem solving, or equivalent experience in application development
  • Strong analytical and abstract thinking, and a taste for logic and puzzles
  • A constructive-critical attitude: you ask further, point out contradictions and gaps, and propose improvements
  • Clear verbal communication
  • Initiative, adaptability, a focus on quality and a drive to learn
  • Willingness to travel to client sites a few days a week
  • Nice to have: software engineering, design patterns, object-oriented design, ERD or process modelling

What you get:

  • A permanent contract
  • An extensive training programme
  • Hybrid work, part-time and flexible hours possible
  • A good salary, pension scheme, lease car or public transport and mobility scheme, laptop, phone allowance, result bonus and training budget
  • A flat, open organisation with an informal atmosphere
