Commercial Insurance Underwriter

Assess business insurance applications in a team of about 15, hybrid in Zuid-Holland.

An insurer in Zuid-Holland is hiring an underwriter for business insurance. You work in a team of about 15 colleagues and assess applications from small and medium-sized business clients.

What you will do:

• Assess insurance applications from small and medium-sized business clients
• Prepare quotes and policies
• Answer questions and change requests from insurance advisers
• Coordinate with colleagues in prevention and field service
• Share ideas to improve products and processes

What you bring:

• At least an mbo-4 diploma, preferably in a financial or commercial field
• Experience with business property and casualty insurance
• Strong analytical skills and accuracy
• Good communication skills and ease in contact with clients
• The Wft Schade Zakelijk certificate, or the willingness to obtain it
