Enterprise Architect
Our client, a major insurance organization in the Randstad, is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to guide the evolution of their IT landscape in alignment with business strategy.
As Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for defining and governing the target architecture across application, data, and infrastructure domains. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, translating strategic goals into actionable architecture roadmaps.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles, and standards using TOGAF or a comparable framework
- Define target state architectures for the application portfolio, identifying opportunities for rationalization and modernization
- Advise the executive board and IT leadership on technology investment decisions and their architectural implications
- Facilitate architecture reviews and ensure solution designs align with enterprise standards
- Guide the transition from monolithic legacy systems to a modular, API-driven landscape
- Collaborate with domain architects, product owners, and external vendors to ensure coherent execution
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 3 years in an enterprise architect role
- TOGAF certification or equivalent; experience with ArchiMate modeling
- Strong background in the insurance or financial services sector
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in Dutch and English
